Some of my photos are missing or blank. Can I get them back?
Usually yes — run Restore Missing Photos on the phone that took the photo.
Usually yes — run Restore Missing Photos on the phone that took the photo.
Usually yes, and it only takes a couple of minutes.
If a photo could not be uploaded when the moment was captured, it was saved on that phone only. It shows as blank on every other device, and can even go blank on the original phone after the app is reinstalled.
The photo is normally still on the phone that took it.
- Go to Settings. 2. Tap "Restore Missing Photos." 3. The screen shows you how many photos can be restored, runs with a live progress bar, and tells you when it's finished.
Leave the screen open until it completes. Important: each person restores their own photos. If moments captured by your partner are blank, they need to run Restore Missing Photos on their own phone, because the photos are on their device and not yours.
