How to add worksheets, videos and voice notes to a moment

Not every lesson fits in a photo. A moment can hold up to 5 photos, a worksheet, a short video or a voice note, so the reading aloud and the math page live right next to each other.

Recorded in our iPhone app with a demo family. Sample descriptions shown.

On iPhone

  1. Tap the + button at the bottom right.
  2. Choose Take a photo or video, Add photos, Add a worksheet or Add a voice note. In the camera, tap for a photo or hold for a short video.
  3. To add more to the same moment, tap the + tile next to what you’ve added and pick another kind.
  4. Voice notes can be up to 30 seconds and videos up to 15 seconds.
  5. Check the description, then tap Save.

On Android

  1. Tap the round + button next to the tabs.
  2. Choose Take a photo, Add photos, Add a worksheet or Add a voice note.
  3. For video, tap the media area on the New Moment screen, then Record a video or Choose a video.
  4. Voice notes can be up to 30 seconds and videos up to 15 seconds.
  5. Check the description, then tap Save.

Only seeing photo choices? Turn on Attach more than photos in Photo Intelligence (☰ on iPhone, More on Android).

TipA worksheet and a photo of your child working on it make a great pair in a portfolio.
