Import up to 50 photos at once and let the AI caption and tag each one automatically.

Import up to 50 photos at once and let the AI caption and tag each one automatically.

Bulk Import lets you turn a batch of existing photos — like a backlog from your camera roll — into learning moments all at once, instead of capturing them one at a time. It's available to subscribers.

  1. Go to Profile, then Bulk Import. 2. Select which children were involved in these photos. If you select more than one child, all selected children will be mentioned together in each generated description. 3. Tap Choose Photos and select up to 50 photos from your photo library. If your photos have embedded date information, the app will use it to date each moment. 4. Review the batch on the summary screen, removing any photos you don't want to import. 5. Tap Import to start. Each photo is uploaded and analyzed in turn — the app shows a live progress bar and a running count of completed and failed imports. Keep the screen open until it finishes; closing the app stops the import.

There is a daily limit of 100 photos imported per day; if your batch would exceed that, you'll be told how many will be processed today. After the import finishes, you have 24 hours to undo it from the Timeline screen if needed. A small number of photos may fail to import (usually due to file size or format) or may be imported with a placeholder description if AI analysis was temporarily unavailable — you can regenerate the caption on any such moment afterward, or edit it manually.

Bulk-imported photos from cloud storage (like iCloud) can take longer to download than photos already stored locally on your device.
