Our editorial process
Every page is signed. Each article on Homeschool Moment lists the author who wrote it and, where applicable, the expert who reviewed it. We tell you the date of last review at the top of every page so you know what you are reading is current.
State law pages are reviewed by Amanda Chen, Esq., our legal reviewer. She reviews each page before publication and revisits high-traffic state pages on a six-month cadence. Her review does not constitute legal advice for any individual family — for that, consult an attorney licensed in your state.
Methodology and grade-level pages are reviewed by Dr. James Patterson, our education methodology reviewer. He brings academic rigor and an outsider's analytical eye to claims commonly made in the homeschool community.
