All moments sync to your shared household, so everyone stays on the same page. You can see who captured each moment, and as the household owner, you maintain full control - easily revoke access anytime if needed.
Your data is securely stored and you remain in complete control. We use secure cloud storage to enable seamless syncing across all household members' devices - so when Dad captures a moment on his phone, Mom sees it instantly on hers. You can clear your data at any time from within the app settings. Paid subscribers can also connect their own Google Drive for additional backup - meaning your backups go to YOUR cloud storage. Most importantly, we never use your photos or data to train our AI. Images are only processed temporarily to generate descriptions and are immediately discarded. No. Homeschool Moment does not store, scan, or recognize your child's face. We do not use facial recognition technology of any kind. The only way a child's name appears in an AI-generated caption is when you manually select their name before capturing the moment. Our AI (powered by OpenAI's technology) describes the learning activity in the photo - not the people in it. It sees "a child building with blocks" or "hands painting a canvas," not facial features. Your children's biometric data is never collected, stored, or processed. We designed it this way intentionally because we're homeschool parents too, and we share your commitment to protecting our children's privacy.
