No. Homeschool Moment does not store, scan, or recognize your child's face. We do not use facial recognition technology of any kind. The only way a child's name appears in an AI-generated caption is when you manually select their name before capturing the moment. Our AI (powered by OpenAI's technology) describes the learning activity in the photo - not the people in it. It sees "a child building with blocks" or "hands painting a canvas," not facial features. Your children's biometric data is never collected, stored, or processed. We designed it this way intentionally because we're homeschool parents too, and we share your commitment to protecting our children's privacy.
